Positive Changes are Afoot at Metcalf's

METCALF'S have seen so many developments over the past few weeks, and with their second auction of the year a roaring success, the staff and directors are excited to see how the business expands over the coming months.

Ashley Dribben, Director, says: "We have seen so many changes at Metcalf's over the past month that are going to make a huge difference to the business. We are all very excited to see what effects these changes will have.

In early March Metcalf's welcomed the arrival of new Valuer Richard Lee. Richard, 24, graduated from UCLAN in July 2010 with a BSC in Building Surveying and is now working towards his RICS APC in order to become chartered.

As well as their new arrival Metcalf's have also launched their new website which has already been deemed a roaring success by customers and clients alike.

Ashley continues: "We have had a brilliant response from the launch of our new site. It has been completely redeveloped and now features a client login system; applicants can request viewings and potential clients are able to book valuations. There are still a couple of glitches that need ironing out as it has only been running for just over a week but so far we have had a great response.

On top of all this activity Metcalf's have also found the time to refurbish their offices with amazing results.

Ashley says: "Everyone who comes in is so shocked at the change in appearance. Our new look office looks far more professional than its predecessor with new desks, chairs and layout. Clients will also be happy to know that we have replaced the famous tartan carpet with a more sedate and fitting style.

In the coming months they also have a rebranding exercise that will clarify the sales services they offer.

Ashley states: "We have always been seen predominantly as an auction house. What many people don't realise is that we are one of the leading agents for private treaty sales on both residential and commercial properties across the Fylde Coast. So in order to help potential buyers differentiate between our sales properties we are rebranding all our boards to clarify whether they are for sale by auction, residential or commercial."

With a new office, new Valuer and extensive advertising Metcalf's have a positive outlook for the remainder of 2011 and are hoping they can continue their success long into 2012.
